A Quest for the Secret Formula 

is an exciting fairytale adventure. Ten-year old Henri, a boy fairy, lives in the peaceful Woods of Emeraude. One day, a beautiful fairy from the evil Empire of Le Mal gives Henri a powerful substance called Belle Ambre. Henri slips into a coma. His friends, Thomas, Michael, and their scout, a dove named Esprit, are sent on a quest by King Richard to the Kingdom of Bleu Vert to obtain the secret formula of the antidote which will make Henri well. They travel through the evil Empire of Le Mal and must conquer many obstacles on their quest for the secret formula. 

Christine Thomas Doran is an international award-winning children’s book author. In addition to writing the environmentally themed Flash and Fancy river otter trilogy, she’s also written several other children’s books dedicated to educating our children about the perils of addiction and addictive behavior. Christine earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University in Elementary Education and is a retired teacher with over 25 years of teaching experience. She’s also completed graduate work at OldDominion University and the University of Virginia. In June, 2020, Mrs. Doran was honored to have one of her environmentally themed children’s books selected and read on the SC Educational Television/PBS Channel in the Virtual Storytime Program. Mrs. Doran resides with her family in Georgetown, South Carolina and grew up in nearby Charleston.
